Shopping From My Gift Reserve

Stocking up on items for your Gift Reserve is a powerful way to save money on gift giving.

This past week was our daughter's birthday. I had shopped ahead and stocked up on several items I knew she wanted WHEN they were on sale and WHEN I could use coupons, rebates, etc... So this year when it was time for her birthday, all I had to do was go "shopping" in my Gift Reserve. She got gifts she loved and I spent a fraction of the amount I would have paid if I had shopped the week before her big day.

We also had a Cupcake themed party for her. I wanted to show you what we did as our guest gifts. It included a shaker bottle, cupcake sprinkles, a wooden spoon, 6 cupcake liners, and 2 "princess" toothpick decorations. I bought all my items very inexpensively. Each gift cost about $1.85, but it looks much more expensive, doesn't it? Be creative. You don't have to break the bank when it comes to party planning.
