OK Moms, I need some advice....

Our oldest started Kindergarten this year, so I'm a newbie at all this. Honestly, what do you do to keep all the school papers organized? Do you save, file, purge?  HELP!!!

At the end of each week have your Kindergartener pick 1-2 papers that they would like to keep and if there is nothing on the back use it to print coupons.

Then at the end of the year I let my children pick their top 5-10 papers (depending on the year.)

That looks like the exact pile I just went through. I love everything she does but really??? I think the kids need to have dry erase boards at school to practice writing on because I don't have room to put every single piece of paper and it seems like a crazy amount of paper that is getting used!!! I sift through it and toss repeats and anything that she was really proud of I will keep. Love your method Sarah!

For artwork I highly recommend taking photos of the artwork as well as some of your child holding the art. It is much easier to store a flat photo or make a photobook of kindergarten art than to try to store all of those beautiful creations.
