Today I'm Thankful For...

November 9th

Today I'm thankful for Friends.

I'm grateful for all the close friends in my life. The ones that lift me up, that tell me the way it is and are there when I need them. But, I'm especially filled with gratitude for my Best Friend, Kiers. 

This is a picture of me and Kiers last year at Women of Faith. Three years ago, this wife and mother of three was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. She's never smoked a day in her life. In fact, she's a classically trained vocalist (opera singer). The doctor's told her she had 3-6 months to live. That was over 3 years ago. She's now CANCER FREE!

Never take anyone for granted. Cherish all the big and small moments in life. They're precious!
