DIY Valentine's Day Projects: Free Heart Garland

As we come up on Valentine's Day, I wanted to share a whole series of DIY Valentine's Day ideas and projects for gifts and decorations that can save you quite a bit of money. By the way, I found some incredible inspiration on Pinterest (you can follow me there, too).

Make this Heart Garland for FREE! You'll need various colors of Paint Color Strips from your local paint/hardware store, scissors or a heart punch, ribbon and glue. I had all these supplies on hand from past craft projects, except the color strips.

Punch or cut out Hearts from the color strips.

Then glue them to the ribbon, spacing them out as needed.

Next, hang your garland! We put ours on the fireplace mantle. It was so easy. All three of the kids (2 yrs, 4 yrs and 6 yrs) helped with the project.
