DIY Duster

Although this post isn't exactly about "Retail", we do embrace most things frugal in our home. I've been wanting to try this DIY Duster tutorial from Sew Much Ado ever since I saw it on Pinterest.

I can sometimes get coupons and deals on Swiffer items, but they're few and far between. I knew I could save a ton of money if I could make my own.

I used some left over flannel from some previous sewing projects. (The author of the original post suggested using an old Flannel Shirt.) The bottom duster is what it looks like before you wash it. The top duster is what it looks like after being in the wash. The best part is they really work. All I have to do is wash them between uses. I think I need to go make some more. :)
