DIY: Clean Your Crocs

Your Retail Helper

We desperately needed to clean my daughter's Crocs for Back to School. The shoes still fit and we didn't want to spend money on something new, especially if we could still get a lot of good use out of this pair. (These are pair that I got for $2.50 in December from a Sale + Coupons + Free Shipping offer.)

After researching the best methods, I decided to put them in the washing machine. Here are the Before and After pictures. Not bad for minimal work!

AFTER

I make my own laundry detergent and wash everything in cold water, so I knew I wouldn't hurt them. I just wasn't sure how clean they'd get. I was pleasantly surprised. Here are more tips and options for cleaning your Crocs.

1) Mild soap and a washcloth
2) Magic Eraser
3) Washing Machine (cold water only)
4) Armor all wipes
5) Don't put them in your Dishwasher or Dryer. The heat could make them shrink or distort.
