Monsuno Monster Power Party Pack Review
Have you ever watched an episode of Monsuno? Did you also know there is a Monsuno game and trading cards?
We were sent a Monsuno Monster Power Party Pack to review and let our readers know what we thought. We invited a few friends over and opened the box. (By the way, the only compensation we received, was the game, itself. We gave half of the Cores to our friends that joined us. See our Disclosure Policy.)
The Party Pack included 4 Cores and a ton of Playing Cards. The kids at our Power Party were ages 5-7 years old. We read the directions, however, the game is somewhat complicated. The kids definitely would have figured out how to play, if given time. But, our kiddos were distracted. (No fault of their own or their parents.) It was hard to keep them on track. In hindsight, it would have been easier to view the Game Rules on the Monsuno website.
The kids did have fun playing with the Cores, fitting the Action Figures inside of the Cores and looking at the Playing Cards, so not all was lost.
The box indicates the game is for children 6+ years old, however, I'd say it would definitely be more intriguing for children who are familiar with the animated series and might be ages 8+ (i.e. complexity of the rules.)
All in all, we had a fun afternoon, even if we didn't play the game to it's full potential.
Amazon has the Monsuno Core 1-Packs (1 Core, 1 Action Figure and a set of Playing Cards) for around $10.50.
