DIY Projects to Save Money on Retail: Re-purposed Pants


Do-It-Yourself is a great option for saving money on apparel, gifts, decorating and remodeling. Today's DIY Project is Re-purposed Pants. Your Retail Helper


When your kids go through a growth spurt, you can add fabric to the hem of their pants. (Either sew on the fabric, use fabric glue or try iron-on adhesive strips.) It will lengthen the pants and make them stylish. For girls, you can also try rolling up the hem on the pants to make them into Capris.
